BU Net Impact Undergrad
BU Net Impact Undergrad is part of a global network of students and professionals who use business skills and resources to make a positive impact on society and the environment. Our chapter aims to encourage positive action on campus and in the community through educational events, on- and off-campus initiatives, volunteer work and networking opportunities. Our mission is to inspire and to prepare future leaders to act responsibly and to recognize their impact on society and the environment.
We have several events planned for the semester, including: an educational meeting where students will get help on building resumes, creating business cards and networking; a field trip to a Boston recycling plant to learn about the true process of recycling; and a green start-up panel where students can ask questions and network with members from successful green start-ups.
You can get involved by attending our bi-weekly meetings on Mondays at 6pm in CAS 442 (beginning on February 9th) where we discuss short- and long-term projects and work on upcoming events. You can also keep up with all of our upcoming events and meetings by checking our Facebook and OrgSync pages. We hope to see you there!
